About keke_04

Hi! I'm also in the process of beginning my own business.  What you really should do before anything else is deside on the the business you want to start.  Then do your research. You will need to know how much money you'll need for the start up.  Writing a business plan will really be a HUGE help in laying out all of your goals for your business, ect.  If you apply for a grant, more than likely, you will need to produce a business plan to submit with the grant proposal.  If you apply for a small business loan you will ALWAYS need a business plan because they'll want to see that you've researched and know your market. keep in touch!

Hi. From what I've learned through my training, there is no license need for a web business.  A license would be need for a store front...

Grants for Women and Minorities in Business

Today I began my search for grants.  I am currently in my fourth hour of research and still have yet to find a grant for my business.  Yes, I'm looking for grant money to aid in the start up of my business.  I don't want loans because I don't want to deal with debt on top of trying to start a business.  I've searched for small business, women's, and minority grants.

I did download, Federal Money Retreiver, for free.  It's a nice tool, but I still haven't found any grants that pertain to my business.  My search will continue and I will locate what I'm looking for.

I also need to practice writing grant proposals. I've read a lot of material in the hours I've searched today so I'm off to a great start on grant writing.  There's really no need to pay someone to write up a grant proposal unless you truly don't have the time to learn and do it on your own.  Saving every dollar I can at this point is extremely important to me.
